How to reach Palmeira de Faro?
Coming by plane: The nearest airport is Francisco Sa Carneiro Porto International Airport (Oporto - OPO). We shall do our best to bring the participants of the 6th IOTM to the Quinta da Seara from the Porto airport according to the arrival/departure time they provide us with. If you want to use the opportunity of the 6th IOTM to visit Portugal, you can of course rent a car at the airport.
You can choose to land at Lisbon International Airport (LIS) and join Esposende/Palmeira de Faro by train or car. Should you stay some days in Lisbon, you will be able to enjoy the touristic attractions of this marvelous city. We highly recommend the visit of the Lisbon Oceanarium!!!

Coming by train:
You will find the railway timetable on the web site of the Portuguese railways, Comboios de Portugal, CP. The travel time from Lisbon Oriente to Porto-Campanha is about 2.30-3.00 hours.
We shall do our best to bring the participants of the 6th IOTM to the Quinta da Seara from the railway station Porto-Campanha, according to the arrival/departure time they provide us with.

You can easily find the Quinta da Serea if you search for "Quinta da Seara-Turismo Rural, Palmeira de Faro" in GoogleMaps.
